Chapter Books

I didn’t have to go to school for four whole days! It was fun! I got to spend the night at a friends house too. I really liked that. Then she got to come over and play one day also. We had fun. We tried to play the Wii but she didn’t know how so we played Toon Town. Mommy said my friend could spend the night on my birthday too. That will be a lot of fun. We are going to have Pizza and cake and I get to open my present(s). I really hope I get a Nintendo DS.
I did OK at school, but my reading grade was a D. It’s boring to read and I don’t like too. Mommy and Daddy make me read ALL the time now. I think I am doing better, but it’s hard to tell sometimes. Mommy and Daddy tell me that if I don’t get this down I might not get to go to 2nd grade with the other kids. I don’t want that to happen.
I think I am growing again. One of my favorite pairs of pants is getting too short. I am also hungry ALL of the time. All I want to do is eat EVERYTHING. I have been eating all of my dinner really good, so then I get to have dessert. BD sometimes lets me help her make desserts on the weekends. That’s fun. I can pour stuff in the bowl and stir and sometimes I can help crack the eggs. Dessert is my favorite thing.
I can read chapter books now. I am getting so much better at reading. I am doing good at spelling too. I didn't get penguin right, but I got all of the other words right so I got a 100. Yea for me!

Life is good

I got new clothes and a doll! I love boxes! There are almost always good things in them – for me. I really enjoy getting new things and I really am happy that someone loves me. So, thank you for sending boxes full of fun stuff! I love you!

I have to go back to school next week (sigh!). I think Daddy is happy about that, he says he’s not gotten anything done with everyone home. I don’t know what he’s talking about though. I get plenty done when everyone is here. I would like it if I could play the Wii more though. I love playing the Wii, especially when I win. That’s so much fun! We need more games for the Wii.

I’ve been staying up late since I haven’t been going to school. One night, I even got to sleep on the couch! That was a LOT of fun! I felt like a big girl, plus it’s more comfortable than my bed. I was jumping on it today to try to make it softer, but Brittney told me to stop. I think I need a new bed. Yep, that would work for me.
