Big Girl Stuff

I get to move up to the Super Stars class next week at gymnastics, Yea! I am getting good at 'nastics! I just like to play with the other kids. That's really why I go.

Daddy and Mommy are putting me into soccer this fall at the YMCA too. I don't know what it is, but there will be other kids there so it can't be too bad. Mommy said she would be the assistant coach so I guess that means she will play too.

Hi Ho Hi Ho Its Off to school I go

It's been a quiet week for me. I had swimming lessons on Monday. We didn't stay though. Usually we do, but not this time. We went to church on Sunday. Oh and I got my hair cut. It's just below my shoulders now. Daddy was "tired" of "fighting" with me to brush it. After the movie we went to see The Fantastic Four. I guess it was ok. I wasn't really into it. Mommy also let us go to the pet store and look at puppies. I really like the Chihuaha puppy that was black and white. He was really cute. 'Lexi liked the malamute, but that puppy tried to eat my hair. The Chihuaha only tried to nibble my dress. Mommy said when I am older (like 8) I can have a puppy.

OWWWWW

I know it was an accident, really, I do, but it HURT! My big toes got caught as someone was opening a door and peeled back a chunk of skin. WAAAAAAAH! Daddy is making me be really careful and might not let me go to swimming lessons tonight. That would be no fun. I like swimming, a lot!

I spent all weekend in the truck it seems like. We went somewhere, spent an hour or two playing and dancing (Daddy's a good dancer) and spent the night in a nice place (I want to live there). Mommy let me go swimming the next morning which was fun and then we went ot eat with friends of Mommys and bowling. I like bowling but the balls are too heavy.

I am not in school today becuase we got home too late. I don't think Daddy wanted to wake up. He said he didn't get very much sleep. I don't know why, I slept just fine.

Weekends

I don't get it. Why do Mommy and Daddy refuse to get out of bed on days that I don't have school? I mean, c'mon, there is so much to do. Cartoons, running around, playing outside, running around, eating breakfast, running around. I have a full day planned that I can't get into if they don't get up and FEED ME, and let me go outside.

I went to see fireworks last night! That was really cool. We stayed out really late and laid on a blanket with Ms. Melanie. She came along too. It was fun. Except the bathrooms were MILES and MILES away.

I need to go do my chores now. Mommy seems to think she wants to start laundry. I don't see why, though. I have plenty of clothes to wear.
