Easter

I got up this morning and went downstairs to breakfast and the Easter Bunny had come to give me goodies. He put it in my Easter basket that I used yesterday, so it was a good thing Mommy had left it out. I got a big candy bar, an egg with a picture and M&M's in it, a little yellow duckie that moves when you pull the cord, and some other candy. I ate the M&Ms in the stick at church, so they are all gone. I got bubbles at church too. I love bubbles. I don't know why Mommy and Daddy won't let me play with them in the house though.
We got to find Easter Eggs yesterday. That was a lot of fun. I found a lot of them. We also colored Easter Eggs the night before, but I kept dropping mine and cracking them. I liked making pink eggs, but I tried ALL of the colors, just to see. It was a lot of fun, though Lexi and I made a mess.
I don't go back to school until Tuesday, so I get to stay home with Lexi and Daddy again tomorrow. Mommy has to go to "work" so she won't be here. She's been doing that a lot lately. I'm not sure what it means, but she puts the blue clothes on to go.

Spring Break

I get to stay home all next week with Daddy, Grandma, and Alexis. Daddy says he's going to clean the house, but he's said that before.

Daddy bought me Sunshine (Care) Bear yesterday. It SINGS! It drove Daddy nuts though. It doesn't take much to drive him nuts though.

We had an Easter Party at school yesterday. We took fruit, yummy. No bananas though, just apples, and grapes, and strawberries. Alexis and I got into the strawberries the night before but Mommy would not let us eat them all. She did get enough so that we would have some here at home too. Maybe she will let us put chocolate on them again, that was fun.

I am pretty much over my cold now. It was not too bad for a change. Daddy is tinking of having metested for allergies to see if it's something else. Mommy doesn't want to do tat yet. She keeps saying something about a lot of needles.

We are supposed to go look at bunk beds for Alexis and I. Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma think that might work better for Alexis and I, rather than sharing a bed. I don't care one way or the other.

My First Blog

YES! I am now an internet entity, soon to be an ICON. I am so cool.

Mommy started this blog so the purely Mercedes fans can look me up and read what I have going on. That's about the only cool thing she's done this week. She keeps complaining about readers and theses and junk that has no rel bearing on my existence. Doesn't she understand that I am the most important thing? Sigh! Remedial training is in order.

I had a busy week as usual. I had school MOnday through Friday. We had singing on Monday and Thursday which is very cool. It was dinosaur week this week, so we were learning about them. Next Friday is Purple Day, so I get to wear all purple to school that day. Purple isn't my favorite color, but I can live with it. It would be so much better if it were pink day, though.

I also went to gymnastics on Monday. THat was fun, but it always is. I get to run around with people my own age and fall down on soft mats and play in bins of balls. Life is great!

Daddy has finals to study for this weekend so he's kind of grouchy. Once he's done with finals, maybe he will hill out.

Mommy fixed cinnamon rolls for breakfasy so I am going to go eat. I like to lick all of the icing off. The rest of the roll is just to hold the icing so why bother eating it, right?
